I believe all levels of government should be open and transparent and be seen to be so. With any major decision the rationale should be explained as well as a clear and quantifiable explanation given of the benefits to all residents.
I hope to make a difference to issues affecting our community by listening to residents concerns and encouraging greater engagement with the council.
I believe Mersea is a very special place and will do all I can to ensure it remains so.
